ICDDA 2018
4th Edition Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense and Aviation (ICDDA) will be held on 23-25 October 2018 at Hacettepe University, Beytepe Convention Center in Ankara.
With the support of Undersecretariat for Defence Industries (SSB), with the organization of Ostim Defense and Aviation Cluster (OSSA) and ABE, participant companies will have a chance to;
* Perform bilateral business meetings,
* Improve existing business relationships,
* Create new business associations,
* Offer the opportunity to explore the problems and possible solutions that the industry is facing.
ICDDA has been successfully conducted by a professional team with great efficiency evidenced by the surveys conducted after the events of the years 2013-2014-2016 which have shown that 95% of correspondents were satisfied regarding participant companies and the interviews themselves. ICDDA, with its low costs grants, offers SMEs the opportunity to meet with high qualified companies. The continued participation and interest to each ICDDA 2013-2014-2016 events shown by procurement bodies from abroad and the support of our sponsors has an important place in our success.
ICDDA has been awarded the “Defense Industry Special Award” in 2014 by Undersecretariat for Defence Industries and the special award of “Defense Industry Promotion” in 2017 with the successful and effective bilateral business negotiations realized by the procurement bodies from abroad thanks to the organization. The support provided by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Economy under UR-GE Projects is important in terms of increasing the participation of SMEs to the events.
On the first day of ICDDA, conferences on the topics of Civil Aviation, Maritime-Air-Land Systems, Homeland Security Technologies and Supply Chain Strategies and sectoral problems faced by the industry are hold in the presence of domestic and foreign competent moderators. Possible solutions are also discussed with more than 1600 officials from several qualified institutions including military and commercial attaches, distinguished bureaucrats from ministries, representatives from armed forces. On the 2nd and the 3rd day, bilateral business negotiations are organize for the participants in their booths.
In 3rd edition ICDDA which took place in October 2016, 5400 registered bilateral business meetings were held among the participation of over 200 companies from 33 countries. In addition to the participation of many important companies such as AIRBUS DEFENSE AND SPACE, BOEING, DASSAULT SYSTEMS, EADS, LEONARDO GROUP, LOCKHEED MARTIN, MBDA, NAVANTIA, ROLLS ROYCE, SIKORSKY, THALES from abroad, also several local industrial companies such as ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, FNSS, ISTANBUL SHIPYARD, MKEK, OTOKAR, ROKETSAN, TAI, TEI have also part place in the event.
ICDDA WITH NUMBERS 2013-2014-2016
In 4th Edition ICDDA, various conferences will be held on successful operations carried by the Turkish aerospace industry and maintenance/repair/operating (MRO) issues, as well as various conferences on certification and regional development models on 23-25 October 2018.
